Youth Pastor Lisa Howard has been ministering to Mid-Missouri youth for 34 years. She is a graduate of California High School and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education; a Master of Arts degree in Educational Administration, both from Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma; and a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Leadership from Johnson University in Knoxville, Tennessee. She is an ordained minister with the Assemblies of God. She also serves the Southern Missouri District of the Assemblies of God as Sectional Youth Representative. Pastor Lisa began her ministry as a youth pastor of a nondenominational, charismatic church in 1986 and began serving the youth of First Assembly as a volunteer in 2008. She served two youth pastor interims at First Assembly and came on staff in January of 2017. She has homeschooled, taught in private Christian schools, and the Jefferson City public schools. Pastor Lisa and her husband, Mark, have three children, James, Charity, and Jonathan. She loves young people and their parents and is privileged to serve the youth of First Assembly.
